CREAKY D-PAD!!!!

is this normal?? cus i just noticed my 3000 d pad is creaking and its very annoying!!! it does not creak when pushed individually but when i push two of them at the same time it creaks & if u play tekken u can hear this sound whole the time.can i fix this?

the only issue i have seen on D-pad it is when it goes out or broken. i never seen this issue on psp. does someone ever see those problems???

No,it creaks when i push the d-pads at the same time just like when doing a combo on street fighter or tekken

try opening it, then you will see the problem n probably fix it.

Clean the d-pad. Remove the screw and clean the d-pad with a tissue. Its better if you clean it with water.

DON'T clean it with water. That's for obvious reasons, water and sensitive electronics don't mix. He's got the right idea though, take the front faceplate off, and clean the d-pad/analog stick. If you have a 1000, 2000, it isn't that difficult to get physical access to the parts, but if you have a 3000 and want to clean your analog nub, I'd recommend looking on line for a step by step guide to accessing it, as the nub is attached to the very back of the PSP. Instead of water, try using rubbing alcohol, something above 93% or so.
