Yep it's enough for me. Even though they are giving old games, at least they have something for us after all of those waiting rather than nothing, right? Little Big Planet is one of the most beautiful games of all time in those times.

PlayStation Plus isn't the only thing Sony gave you. They also gave you a free PS3 dynamic theme, two free PSP games, two free PS3 games, three free movie rentals, a multitude of free full game trials (via PS Plus), several PS1 classics and minis for free until your subscription ends (via PS Plus), a dozen free-to-keep-forever PS3 themes (via PS Plus), free-to-keep-forever PSN premium avatars, discounts on PSP/PS3/PSN games, and so much more.

If you feel the need to complain about all of that, then you honestly don't deserve any of it.

What do you want from Sony, 50 free $60 games? Sorry, bud, not going to happen.

They've put some thought into what they've offered, it may look like a genuine offer to you, it looks like sales marketing to me.

PS Plus = One month trial = games for one month = borrowed games = a teaser to encourage you to go back, sign up, charge you for the service, and buy stuff from them = marketing.

Two free PS3 games = ***, what if you own them already/they're yesterdays games.

Free PSP games = What if you don't have a PSP/UK no free PSP games.

Three free movie rentals = ***, they're not yours to keep, they're rentals ie; borrowed. It's just another way of encouraging you to rent stuff from them in the future. Companies all over the net do freebie deals like that just to get you to sign up to their movie rental services, it's marketing, the offer is nothing special.

A multitude of free game rentals = ***, they're trials, not yours to keep, lent to you to encourage you to buy more stuff from them, marketing.

Discount on games = ***, if they're available in retail shops the chances are they'll be cheaper in the shop/no trade in value either.

PS3 themes = ***. Seriously, this is an insult.

PSN premium avatars = ***. Seriously, this is an insult.

No, maybe one $60 dollar game and one budget priced ($25) game with both being available from a far wider range of games.

The PSN downtime equated to more than just the loss of online play. For example, what if you went ahead and bought $100 dollars worth of download games from PSN store for your PSP/PS3 one minute, then the next minute you went to download your content to find you couldn't, for a whole month.
It's easy to say "It's the hackers fault, the blame should lay with them" but that's not our problem, it's Sony's, as our contract as consumers is with Sony, not the hackers. Waiting a month to be able to download your already paid for stuff is ridiculous. There should have been a plan B in place for plan B.

What Sony offers as a way of a goodwill gesture for the...

1. Prolonged PSN downtime (locked out from accessing our paid for download games/content)
2. The exposure/theft and potential use of our personal details/bank details etc due to their negligence.
3. The loss of the 'Other OS', and the zillion of software updates we have to endure.
4. The loss of net pley (Nothing is absolutely free, you're indirectly paying for it, even if you think you are not)

...is pathetic.

There is no goodwill gesture. It's called pulling the wool over your eyes, bombarding you with clever sales marketing, then profiteering at your expense.
