I don't think he's talking about adhoc since he mentions an AP...

Re: question about wifi
Won't connect from where? How are you trying to connect? How's the AP configured? You know, we're not guessers

Re: question about wifi
i dont even know whats that lol this my first time but also im using windows 7
Re: question about wifi
hi , i think there is no way to connect windows 7 notebook to psp with wifi ,because windows 7 have forced WPA2 encryption which not supported on ofw psp.
if you want make a access point through your internal wireless adapter, you should use something like this: http://www.connectify.me
this does not work on psp because the mode of connection is : wpa2-psk and the psp does not support that without some plugins.
BTW ad hoc also doesn't work and you can't use this method.
if u use windows xp i hope this is helpfully :
and also you can use this way:
* Launch the command prompt with administrator privilage.
* Type as below and you would see the output similar to me.
C:\Windows\system32>netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=aryanwin7vwifi
key=loma#sexy#toma
The hosted network mode has been set to allow.
The SSID of the hosted network has been successfully changed.
The user key passphrase of the hosted network has been successfully changed.
C:\Windows\system32>netsh wlan start hostednetwork
The hosted network started.
* Change the bold marked username and password for yourself.
* Now share your active internet connection to this Virtual WIFI.
sorry for my bad English

It doesn't matter who you are.... doesn't matter where you are from. what do you have to offer to the world ?
