PSP Theme Question

Post by Smoker1 »

OK, so I have tried using Themes that Require the use of the CXMB Plugin, and that did not work. No matter what Version of it I tried. But for some reason, I have old Themes from MS Card I no longer use, and they showed up working perfectly.........CXMB not enabled! How the heck did this happen?????? Works on both my Vita (Adrenaline), and my PSP 3k.

Not sure where these Themes are from, but they are from back in 2007-2009 Era. I just Copied them over from the old MS Pro Duo Cards, and they worked perfectly. Any way I can determine what did it?

Edit - Would the fact that they are .ptf Files instead of ctf make the difference???????

PTF = OFW compatible, SONY even released a tool to make them, they only replace the icons and background.
CTF = CFW only and have the ability to fully customize the entire UI.

As for getting CXMB to work you would first need a version of the plugin that is compatible with your firmware, then you would need to make sure the ctf theme you want to use is also compatible with your firmware.

The CXMB Plugin is for 6.20, and same with the Themes I am trying to use. Same for Adrenaline as well.

Adrenaline requires its own version of CXMB iirc, i used the one that was included with TN-V some time ago and it worked fine.
PSP tho you made sure the plugin was being loaded correctly? normally CXMB goes in ms0:/cxmb/ and needs you to point in VSH.txt to that.

AWESOME! Think your Directory setup did it. But the normal Themes are now gone, leaving only the Custom Themes. Not a Problem though. But at least I got it running....... . You ever use the "Ultimate PS3 Theme Mod" before? Seems it is running a little slow.
