Updating my PSP?

Hey, thanks for the infos guys.
Will the 6.61ME installer updates automatically or must I update to OFW 6.61 first?

I recall the ME installer is able to install 6.61 + CFW at the same time but if not just update to OFW first then run the ME installer, Doesn't particularly matter.
Oh make sure to disable plugins before updating cause they can cause issues.

Better is do clean - u will have that 100% perfect install.

1.Remove MSPD card and format it in PC
2.On PSP do Factory reset
3.On MSPD card on PC copy OFW and CFW files
4.Put MSPD card back to PSP
5.Install (Connect power suplay PSP and charged battery to 100%)

1.OFW
2.CFW

6.End

Also on 5.50GEN-D remeber to change the version.txt inn flash from 9.90 to 5.50 and save. Before install newest FW (Becouse if not will show u have 9.90 FW and will not allow update becouse will think is newest version then u wonna update)

Hi, I totally forgot to post last week. I updated my PSP 1000 flawlessly. All you need is to get the 661.PBP from our best friend Google.
I haven't tried Darkspeed on my 3000 yet.

6.61 u can get form offical site ,that site also or many anotcher sites - OFW and CFW - u find all collections
