[HELP] PSPGO not connecting to PC

Hi there,

i recently purchased a pspgo second hand. I am having problems connecting it to my computer and macbook. When i plug the pspgo in via cable nothing pops up on the computer screen, the pspgo charges (well orange light comes on) but no drivers get installed or nothing shows on the macbook. i have tried this on three machines,
windows 7 PC, Windows 8 PC and macbook air.

Any advise/help?

on the pspgo once i click USB Connection the screen still says "connect this system to a pc..." (firmware of pspgo is 6.60.)

i have looked through the help pages on here and on google but no luck.

Could it be a cheap wire? (would it charge in the pc but not connect for data transfer?) or anything wrong with the actual pspgo?

yes a cheap wire would do this. i too have one which can charge but not data transfer. get another cable, preferably official one.
