I got the sound to work on 3.71 OFW but problematically! More to follow shortly

=====

Okay, so the sound was cutting in and out. If I ran a homebrew on 3.71OFW it would fail to run and would crash the sound. If I was scrolling on the XMB the sound would crackle and crash.

I flashed from 3.71OFW to 3.71m33 and the sound now works perfectly! I will be staying on this version for this PSP :P. Funny, I feel like moving to m33 wasn't directly the fix, more that reflashing 3.71 fixed a corrupted sector in the sound prx or something. I do not know, but I feel something is wrong with this flash :P

Thanks guys for taking my instinct seriously. I knew it wasn't a bad chip! :D *happy*

Put their folders to PSP/GAME/here, run the Chronoswitch Downgrader and re-flash 6.60.
If the problem goes away try installing 6.60 PRO-C and see if the problem persists: http://wololo.net/download.php?f=660Pro-C-fix3.zip
ok now what?

Hello guys,

It Looks like i have somewhat the same issue. my audio sounds like a chipmunk as if it is in fastforward. I tried to downgrade from 6.60 to 6.20 but no results. I can play mp3s like normal so its not a speaker audio. i also tried it with headphones and same results. I have psp 3000
