How to sign Eboots with PRXEncrypter

Tutorial v1.0

Tutorial!I saw a lot of people who had no clue on how to sign eboots so i made this tutorial and put everything you need in a package

Download My prxEncrypter Pack

1.) install PBP Unpacker(included in pack)
2.) in PBP Unpacker, click open and choose your eboot
3.) press extract and choose a folder to extract it to(remember folder as it will be used in the future)
4.) put your eboot in the same folder as prxEncrypter.exe
5.) right click on the prxencrypter.cmd
6.) press edit
7.) change it to the directory of the eboot and the exe(ie. i used "cd /d D:\PSP\Copy of PRX\". if your directory was "C:\PSP\Encrypter" replace the first line with "cd /c C:\PSP\Encrypter\")
8.) run Encrypter.cmd
9.) you should now have a data.psp file in the same folder as the eboot.
10.) overwrite the old data.psp in the folder that you extracted the eboot
11.) open PBP Unpacker
12.) click "new"
13.) in the folder which you extracted your eboot and overwrote data.psp, select each file
14.) press "save"
15.) choose a location to save your eboot.
16.) now copy it over to your psp
17.) run it
18.) congratulations!!! you encrypted an eboot!!!

note-a lot of homebrew do not work an will give you error 80020148
note2-if it got past gameboot, you know it worked!

This update only makes my pack more user friendly

1.) Place the "PRXEncrypter_Pack_v2.1" folder on your desktop.(if you want to place it elsewhere, you must change the Encrypt.cmd
2.) run PBP Unpacker.exe(included in pack)

4.) press extract and choose a folder to extract it to
5.) open the folder you extracted your eboot to.

Make sure you extract and place the "PRXEncrypter_Pack_v2.1" folder on your desktop!!!!!

1.) Place the "PRXEncrypter_Pack_v2.2" folder on your desktop.(if you want to place it elsewhere, you must change the Encrypt.cmd
2.) Place the eboot.pbp in the "PRXEncrypter_Pack_v2.2" folder
3.) run Encrypt.cmd
4.) now you should have a signed eboot.pbp in the "PRXEncrypter_Pack_v2.2" folder.
5.) run it
6.) congratulations!!! you encrypted an eboot!!!

If it doesn't work go in Encrypt.cmd(right click edit)
and open files.txt
the line in the middle of Encrypt.cmd(spaces in between)
edit that line using the files.txt
if there are those files, type in the name of the file. If they are not there, write NULL in all caps
be sure to keep them in the same order as they are in the files.txt.

This is a beta version and this is only temperary until i figure out a permenent solution that will automatically do that.(anyone who knows how to do this, please post. I am not that good at c so help would be appreciated )

I didn't realize this before due to my stupidity that when you run a cmd file, the default directory is the directory you are in.

just want to add. might work, might not, haven't done, haven't tried. if the above doesn't work, maybe it's because data.psp is an elf. Try using psp-prxgen to make a prx then encrypt it with the above method.

I have ported PRXEncrypter and the realocation patch to the PSP and signed that so now everyone can sign eboots easily from OFW PSP's.

Well PSPUAE is 3.51MB. With this it signs perfect and works fine on my OFW 6.31.
Very nice, the PSP scene is alive again, .

Now it is very easy to use. all you need to do is to place the folder on your desktop and follow the directions
no need to install PBP Unpacker anymore. I included the standalone exe
now you do not need to change the Encrypt.cmd if you place the PRXEncrypter_Pack_v2.1 folder on your desktop

it didnt work for me i try 3 homebrew altough it bypass but it always come back at XMB and have error code...im using PSP go v6.35 OFW
