PSP Error: "CTA80000025"

Hey there,

I have an problem with my PSP Phat CFW 5.00 M33-4.
I cannot start the official sony updater OFW 5.50.
The UPDATER SAY:

Code: Select all

The system cannot be updated.
The update data is not applicable for this system.
(CTA80000025)
How can i fix it.
ADHOC and UMD does not work.

Please help me

Get the Pandora out? I dunno, and why the heck do you want to update to OFW if you are on custom, i don't get it.

But you've got a pandora right, just unbrick it, shouldn't be too hard

u cant use adhoc? restore ur original mac address then...
then try re-launching the update. if fails while in the pandora menu install ofw then re-install the other ofw u want to install

Sounds like your ID Storage is f***ed up, use DCv8 to recreate your ID Storage.
