I'm going to do this. I mean, my MS runs extremely fast anyway (even without Speed Up MS) but I want to make it faster because I use CSO's to save space (I know I shouldn't but I only use an 8GB MS). ;)

I have an original ( Japanese expensive, magic gate supported MSHX16B ) 16 gb hg-pro duo and i cannot format into fat16. Command prompt says that the volume is too big. What can i do to make the psp read it faster. Games always lag on pro-b cfw. But not on umd. What's up with that? :?: Do i need a special VHS configuration or something else? Any help is appreciated. ;)

BTW my psp is a 3000 3g model.

Deleting all the folders just causes more lag for me.

That's the exact same problem I have! I'm using the exact same memory stick too (but 8GB) and I can't format... I'll try delete stuff and try again...

Speed up MS causes frame skipping ( most noticeable on high end graphical games such as Final Fantasy Type 0 ). Demo on official 6.60 firmware doesn't have frameskipping and looks smoother as it should be. I think the ms speedup is just a bogus feature. Iso cache causes weird and unstable loading issues. I always disable them, i've never seen any improvement by using those features. Maybe that's the limit of the CFW and people just take it as normal performance. :?:

Sorry, but I think is not a simple solution like just deleting some folders. :|

And i think the FAT16 format only works with 4/8 gb ms.

Use uncompressed ISOs on games that lag, delete games you barely play if space is a need
