Getting homebrew to work on 6.31

So, how do you get homebrew enabled on 6.31 not having to use HBL or any UMB games or any game exploits!? I have like a million (not really) homebrew apps on my stick that I can't use! :evil:

You don't. Well, not until TN possibly ports his HEN to 6.31, but even then you'd still need to use a game exploit at first.

If you could use homebrews on OFW, why would even anyone need HBL, HEN or CFW? :roll: Think a little by yourself before asking. It's usually very good.

I know, that's why I said "at first" :P. AFAIK, there are no (released) non-game exploits for 6.31 right now, but TN plans to release a VSH exploit when Sony brings out a new firmware.

Whatever happens it's only a matter of time before we get the Hen for 6.31.
TN's concern was to use his vsh vulnerability or not, VS the hot shots golf exploits.

I'm sure some people will work hard to get the Hen working through the HSG exploit, once it gets released for Patapon2.

You have no choice but to use one of the Golf games on UMD to run HBL if you want to use homebrew. At least we have HBL revision 107 working on both versions of the US game (greatest hits and non-greatest hits). I think it's going to get submitted to the SVN soon so keep your eyes open.

That might make it easier/cheaper for you to find. The non-greatest hits version was $4.99 at the GameStop in my town.



Now, if you have a hackable PSP you can use a Pandora battery + MMS to downgrade to a custom firmware. It won't work for the newer PSP-2000's, PSP-3000's, or PSPGo.
