PSP to USB Wifi Adaptor?
I have a major question, is there a homebrew that can use the PSP to direct internet to a PC, or give the PC internet? Any response would be grateful thank you.

You mean that you can use the PSP for internet through your PC then NO.ChorizoConWebo wrote:I have a major question, is there a homebrew that can use the PSP to direct internet to a PC, or give the PC internet? Any response would be grateful thank you.
The PSP doesn't act as an access point to give PC internet. You need WiFi for the PSP unless you use XlinKai for wireless playing games.

I think he means use the PSP like a WIFI dongle, which is probably possible but I don't know of any homebrew that does it.ASKidwai wrote: The PSP doesn't act as an access point to give PC internet.

Isn't acting as an access point something different? One would have the PSP broadcasting wifi(access point), the other has it recieving it(dongle).m0skit0 wrote:I don't think that's possible since as statedafrothunder wrote:I think he means use the PSP like a WIFI dongle, which is probably possible but I don't know of any homebrew that does it.

I'm probably misinformed but I don't know why a homebrew can't connect to an access point, and then over USB communicate with software on a PC to send and recieve packets for the PC.
Re: PSP to USB Wifi Adaptor?
Actually, the AdHoc mode does that, establishing a local network through wifi, maybe I'm wrong. I think that question was made before. Maybe a HB like PSP-FTPD can do that. I finally understood the question. I think it's not possible to a PSP to serve as a router (or access point) to a PC, looks impossible. Hardly the PSP browser can manage a network connection...

I meant to use the PSP to give internet to a PC. I don't see why it's not possible, all it has to do is connect to the access point then send it through USB to PC.

The only way the PSP can have internet is through WiFi and if you do have WiFi, then you can connect through your PC simples...
