Forgot to mention, the games installed with this homebrew still cannot run without a license, so use npdrm_free plugin.

From the readme:
This is a homebrew to install PSN PSP pkgs on the PSP.
pkgs should be placed at ms0:/pkg/, if that folder does not exist, then create it.

place included homebrew on your PSP.
ms0:/PSP/GAME/PSP depackager/EBOOT.PBP

This homebrew only supports installing PSP retail pkgs and files, PS3/debug pkgs are not supported.

boring info, v1 and v2 uses the MagicGate hardware for the AES crypto,
no idea about any benefits/disadvantages with it compared to the kirk engine.

Thanks to @ReRepRep for the idea.

Changelog:
v3:
Now uses software AES crypto (not kirk), so it should be ePSP compatible too.
v2:
Added KEYS.BIN extraction for PS1 pkgs.
v1:
Initial release.

Thanks a lot, i will try and report back.

EDIT: Works perfectly fine on my PSP GO 6.60. a 210 MB pkg file took about 7 minutes to install, that is perfectly fine for me. All worked fine without a hitch. Thanks a lot.

Updated to v2, added support for KEYS.BIN extraction for PS1 pkgs.
Edit:
If your download from v2 has EBOOT.PBP in the first folder, use that, I forgot to update the one in the PSP folder, otherwise download the link again.

Updated to v3, now uses software AES crypto, rather than hardware, so it should be compatible with most CFW, including ePSP CFW.

you cannot make folders in /PSP/GAME/ on 3.5X, you need to use SMOKE's PSP-Installer to make folders.
Using a hex editor, inside the homebrew, you should see ms0:/PSP/GAME/, change it to ms0:/PSP/VHBL/. That will install homebrew there instead of /GAME.
