Purpose:

This software is to be used a GUI replacement for the PSP's XMB. However it's still in the works, and not stable enough for daily use. It is inspired by Android's famous custom rom, CyanogenMod. Take note, this does NOT allow you to run any android software on a PSP and it never will. The psp doesn't have the hardware capabilities to do that. The purpose of this software is to allow you to do the anything a PSP can do, with a different UI and additional features like a built in file manager and text viewer and such. The progress of what's working, and what isn't can be checked here: Joel16's Projects by joel16

Nice, do let me know how it goes. There should be an improvement in performance, after all that cleaning up.
Edit: seems like the old server is down. Anyone willing to share a server with me? I don't need anything more than 20 MB.

Gothic4 wrote:It works good. Will it have iso/cso support and psx eboots( when i try to launch it i get blackscreen or error)?.

Sorry I forgot to mention I'm still working on those. The ISO loader returns to XMB and throws out an error, I haven't touched PSX as yet. Anyways I plan to add those two in the next update. After that I'll work on more customization stuff. :) Same can be said about the UMD. However I only have a PSP Go and I can't make blind releases. I'll need someone to test for me.
I think after that, it should be pretty 'complete' once these are done. Then I can work on other apps like calculator, stop watch, adhoc- messenger and such. Those willing to test PM me. I will message you with builds when I get time.

Edit: there might have been a problem with loading eboots from a memory stick. Anyways I've fixed that and re-uploaded the links.

Edit 2: POPs (PS1) support has been added! Should be available in the next update.

Nicely done! Material design is almost spot on.

Haha thanks for the support.
So anyone willing to try out test builds? PM me if you're willing. I need to check whether POPS works on non go devices.

Edit:
I've added a day/night widget. Since PSP doesn't have GPS receiver I can't get location and weather details lol. Anyways this is part of customization, and it can be toggled on or off.

Yes that is the new CyanogenMod default wallpaper, so it will be default as well in the next update.

Nice work Joel16! Looks like it was very thoughtfully done. It'd be cool if this was in CTF form, but I have no idea about how feasible that would be to accomplish.

Haha thanks, I've been working on more 'customization' features lately. Like just recently I've added an 'expanded desktop' option. It pretty much just hides the navbar and status bar in the homescreen and app drawer to give it a bit of a 'cleaner' look. This also can be toggled on/off under settings->display. Those who use android custom roms would know of this feature :P

I'll most likely release the update either this weekend or the next. This is gonna be the last one for a while because my exams are coming and I'll need to concentrate more. Hopefully I can include the ISO loader in the next update (if I get time). But anyways the pops loader will definitely come in the next update along with some fixes and features as described above :)
Can't believe I've almost been working on this project for a whole year, I don't normally do this haha. BTW I'm not much of a CTF fan haha, so I prefer software over themes.

Okay so I was gonna call this version 4.1 but knowing that it has now gotten more 'value' to it, I decided to bump it to 5.0. Btw I'd like to thank GBOT and Omega2058 for reminding me that my libs are too old (4.01 M33 SDK LOL don't ask why) So yeah, I actually did have working code for loading ISOs, but it was my libs that was causing the problem all along. Also would like to thank qwikrazor87 for helping me getting the eboot loader working. Well that came in the 3.1 update but still worth mentioning. Anyways here's the changelog:

Code: Select allFeatures:

- Fully implement ISO/CSO loading through game launcher
- Fully implement POPS loading game launcher
- Added expanded desktop feature : can be toggled on/off in settings/display
- Added day/night cycle widget. : can be toggled on/off in settings/display
- Add 5x scrolling for gallery (use left/right buttons to move 5x faster than up/down)
- Update default wallpaper to CM12's new default wallpaper
- Added time and date in lockscreen
- Use right/left to change brightness in quicksettings instead of up/down.
- Added USB toggle under settings>performance>storage management.

Fixes:

- Fixed battery percent and time not being shown when viewing a text file
- Fix up processor menu
   : Display correct CPU/BUS frequency
   : Fix Overclocking and Underclocking
   : Prevent skipping frequencies
- Fix up display in the WIFI menu
- Minor changes and fixes
- Fixed time not being updated in the clock app until its reopened

Tested on: PSP Go 6.20 PRO CFW - POPS, ISO/CSOs and homebrews are all working. This should also work on PS Vita as reported by a user on the previous update. :)
Anyone using any other PSP apart from the GO, please do report whether it is working or not, thankyou!
