Great release. As soon as that permanent patch comes out for 6.60 I'm going to get my PSP to automatically boot this, thus getting rid of my XMB (not completely though). @Joel16, you've done wonders with this homebrew and I meant every word.

I want to Android's hidden object games to play on PSP. I don't understand how PSP can run windows 95 but not the simplest apk format game.

I bet this dream will come true as the second analog of ds3 some day.
PSP-1000 6.20 16 GB Pro C-2
PSP-go 6.20 32 GB LME 2.3 White
PSP-go 6.60 24 GB Pro C-2 / LME 2.3 Black
PS Vita Slim 8 GB 3.60 Henkaku
PS TV 3.60 Henkaku 1 TB Samsung Story

Android is impossible on PSP, so you'll never get any apks to run. Even the earliest versions of Android would fail to run on a PSP. Those games can be ported over though, but that's all.

Thanks, I'm still not sure if this works properly on Vita eCFW. I don't own a vita, so I can't try it but it should work. The only thing that wont work on the vita is the volume controls, brightness slider and the kernel buttons to trigger them. I had to disable those kernel modules to allow it to boot up on the vita according to an old tester.

Just a quick update guys. I did say I'd provide quick fixes if anyone encountered any issues so here I am. This ISN'T a new release, but just a 're-uploaded' version with a few minor fixes added onto it. Meaning you just have to re-download the file from my GitHub releases, and replace it with the ones on your PSP.

Change-log

Code: Select all

Features:

- Updated Russian Translation.
- Updated Ukrainian Translation.
- Updated Polish Translation.

Fixes:

- Fixed quick settings tiles not working.
- Fixed brightness slider only allowing to be altered when the cursor is at the very top.
- Fixed crash when entering WiFi menu.
- Fixed time misalignment under quick settings.

Woah, its been a while since I last posted on this thread. Well if anyone hasn't been paying attention to my gits, I've been recently pushing some commits to get font colors working. Well now, the text colors definitely work, which makes themeing a lot more easier instead of having to adjust your textures to suit a preset font color. Also I really liked this SAO theme my friend made. She's an anime fan so you can expect an anime theme I guess haha  .

Image

Also, I kinda figured out how to get ID3 tags. Thanks to gdljjrod for giving me an algorithm of how he implemented it. Just took a bit of modification and some thinking to figure it out. It works for some mp3 files, but not all. Some of them may crash, so I won't release this as yet. Here's a screenshot (with and without the SAO theme :p) I wasn't planning on implementing any new features but this might just be one.

Well I'm not really continuing this, but I only wanted to fix the themeing issues. Unfortunately with the present font colors themeing seemed very limited. My friend told me she had a lot of trouble finding the right textures that would suit the font colors perfectly, so I decided to fix this by adding custom font colors. Don't have a release date in mind, nor do I plan to increment the minor version. I might just call this 6.0.1 instead. Anyways, 'soon' I guess.

I decided on adding a couple more things since I'd be making a release anyway. There had been a few issues with the new font color options to make theme-ing easier, but they have finally all been fixed.

I've also managed to revamp a few apps to make it similar to CyanogenMod 13:

Before and after - Music Player:
[spoiler]Music Selection (Before):

Music Selection (After):

Now Playing (Before):
(With experimental cover art)

(Without experimental cover art)

Before and after - File Manager:

Before and after - Gallery:

After:

Before and after - Default Wallpaper:

The music player had the most aesthetic changes compared to the other apps. I just need to make sure a few more things are working properly as it did in 6.0. Hopefully if everything goes well, I'll be able to make the release (6.0.1) soon.
