Um why are there separate versions for PSP and PSVita?
The PSVita currently only runs PSP games, so why create separate versions?

It just simply same files, PSVITA "PSP/GAME/UK0005" and PSP "NIBBLER"
Just to save time, but on the server they are unzipped, the server dose the archiving on the fly.

Might be doing a PSP Installer for Mac OS X users only, may happen may not just something I am thinking about possibly doing.

Also the PSVITA is not signed, the PSP version is and comes with a unsigned version for anyone using CFW on the PSP

Next update will be some time due to start of new gam for iOS & PSP for FREE, if anyone has any request for remakes of classic games then use the insoft.co.uk website

Nibbler 1.2 Plans
Info Screen for Power UPs : DONE!
New 4 Levels : DONE!
FIFO Buffer for Next Direction Select : DONE! "This allows to select another direction in advance"
Holes in the ground: DONE!
Performance issue for PSP version.

Default for FIFO buffer size is 2, this can be increased by hex editing the settings dat file

Nifty Lifty 1.5 Plans
TMB files for the levels.

Yes, they is 1.2 ready, but am holding off a few days as I am adding two more things, one of them would be short cut were one can skip a level and progress to last level they were playing before he/she died.

UPDATE SO FAR.

Version 1.2 for PSP (Released).
Version 1.3 for iOS (Released).
Version 1.3.1 for iOS & PSP (TBR)
Version 1.3.5 ?
Version 1.4 for iOS & PSP (Q4)
Version 1.5 for iOS & PSP (2015)

Version 1.3.1 for PSP has improved controls, no more just left, right, up or down
In this update you can select up & right, up & left, down & left or down & right as well as the other four selections, so nibbler can now make sharp corner turns for when you need to make two turns very quickly.
FIFO direction buffer no longer used.

The FIFO methode did't feel quite right so I decided to remove it, I have tested the new control method out and happy with it found it much easer to play the game with it as I have been playing the game quite a lot so be sticking with the new method of controls.

FIFO method was able to make a number of selected next directions in advance but just didn't work out to be a good thing so was removed by disabling it in code in case any demand to have it back in as another control option.
So simply gone back to the old method with some vast improvements.

For iOS 1.3.1 brings Universal App, so can now be played on iPhone bringing the game to 3 devices, Mac OS X will be supported in v1.5

v1.3.1 is out on iOS, may be dropping support for PSP after "Chuchie Egg" due to the transition from C to Swift
Be releasing 1.3.1 soon as I test it on the PSP and then be sometime before anymore updates.

Issue with 1.3.2 compiling for PSP, controlls not working for the PSP so will have to address this and release with the next alpha of chuckie egg, sorry for the delay I didn't expect any issue but have some bug in the code to hunt down and squash.

UPDATE
Bug fixed, be uploading sometime tomorrow.

UPDATE
Released v1.3

Mostly all to do with iOS but PSP dose get the diagonal direction capabilities.
Please note that any game state saves in iOS or PSP are the same, you can transfer to each other.
The games are written in C and are compiled for both platforms without alterations of any kind, exact same code apart from screen appearance as not the same res

Continuing development for PSP, was planning to migrate to swift but sticking with C for a bit longer so any new games will be compiled for PSP in the future.

v1.4 update to be worked soon.
iOS will just be a improved virtual analog stick, borrowed from Chuckie Egg v1.0
PSP will be a bigger maze, like the iOS
