Nifty Lifty is a game based on the popular BBC Micro & Spectrum classic Nifty Lifty.
This game has a retro look of what games looked like in the 1980s.

The object is simple but achieving your goal is fiendishly hard! All you have to do is navigate your way from the bottom floor of each level to the top floor. You're on foot though because the lifts have security guards that are on the look out. After all you are a thief and you need to avoid being spotted by a aecurity guard too many times, if you fail to avoid being spotted too many times you will go to jail and it's Game Over.

You'll need to manoeuvre the thief along a series of floors being sure to avoid getting spotted by any of the security guards in the fast moving lifts as they whizz up and down. As the levels get harder so do the lifts, as they speed up as you progress threw the levels.

Every level has 16 stages, after the 16th stage you will progress the the next level were all the stages you have just completed start over again but lifts now moveing quicker than before. Every level the game gets quicker and harder to play.

Controlls
Start := Start Game
Left Trigger / Digital Pad Left := Left
Right Trigger / Digital Pad Right := Right
Triangle := Music ON/OFF
Square := Sound ON/OFF

Enjoy the game!

On-topic: what the heck is this? :shock: Is it a game, an app, or a coffee machine?
Insoft wrote:hope this post stays up as mods here seem to be against Homebrew as they have taken down two post of this game already
Before you accuse us of being biased/against homebrew (lol)/whatever, get your beta up. Now that it is, don't complain we scr..ed up when we haven't.

I am sorry I forgot to add the link to the BETA when I first posted this on the forum as I was so busy into developing the Final, if they is a problem in the future could I be e-mailed please before action is taken, businesses always try to resolve an issue before taken action.

Nifty Lifty progress so far.
As anyone that has tried Nifty Lifty you will have notice they is no sound, I am busy looking into libs for sound on the PSP and be releasing another BETA before FINAL and the Touch Screen to Start will be getting changed as it was a dead port from iOS code, this game is written in C using a RetroKit that was quickly developed in a few days and be releasing that as a separate download to kickstart retro games on the PSP

Does this mean I cannot put it on my VHBL or TN-V thread?

I am ok with you posting screenshots.
And not against mirrors in general, just it would take visits from my site and so anyone looking at this game would not know that it is on iOS as well and that would mean putting in ads on the PSP edition of the game that I don't what to do.

I have used the Signing home-brew but didn't have a PSP with OFW to confirm it had worked so will be setting one up soon to check myself at some point, I have checked it on PSVita and no issues if anyone was wondering, yes it works on PSVita

How about SMOKE makes a package like usual but its hosted on your site? like the link in his thread leads to the PSP version page on your site and just have two download links

one for regular PSP and the other for the Vita ready version
