OFW loader for CFW possible?

Hello,

Me and ThePietn1 are thinking of a new homebrew who is capable of loading a OFW when a CFW is written in the flash.
So, you've got CFW installed in your flash and you want to load an OFW of your memory stick.

I don't know if it's possible, but I want to give it a try (unless someone says that's it really impossible).
And we need someone who helps us with this, but not Wololo, m0skit0 or any other dev who is a bit famous in the psp scene because they would be bored about our acknowledge of programming

Corrrect me if I'm wrong, What I get from your post is that you're trying to make two firmwares in one PSP?
That would be great if it does actually work but I think it needs good programing to pull off such a thing..

What he means is a bit like 1.50 ofw for psp slim, but with a homebrew.
So you have cfw, you run the homebrew and than the homebrew loads an ofw from you memory stick.

Cannot really help you with this, but what you want to do reminds me of the old days of devhook where you would load FW 2.70 or so from the memory stick while having 1.50 flashed.

That would be kind of pointless. If you've got a pandora just flash where you want then right back to cfw agian

just like how ChickHEN works, one could program an OFW to be written in the RAM making it just a temporary OFW (kinda like CFW thru chickHEN) [just a thought]

No, it isn't pointless.
I know you can reflash but that takes time
I want to do it immediately, if you reflash it takes 5-10 minutes until it's completely finished...

Personally, I've never used a CFW, But I guess OFW gives us the ability to play the latest demos and other stuff off the PSN

Yes, that's one reason, but OFW gives also HBL and the upcoming 6.20TN, all of that is just fun.
There are reasons for using CFW, but for me there are also reasons for using OFW.
