Cave Story 4E

Post by Kexim » Wed Oct 17, 2012 9:38 am

I stumbled across this recently and didn't see it here, so I thought I would post it.

It's an awesome mod that adds a fourth ending to Cave Story. All details concerning the changes can be found at the source.

The creator of this mod is HaydenStudios

The PSP port is courtesy of andwhyisit

If you're interested in Cave Story mods, andwhyisit has ported a lot more. You can find them all in his topic on the cave story fan forums:

A Lost Land and Jenka's Nightmare Revived are both pretty good.

The fact that there are multiple endings makes me even more excited to get my hands on the ninja release. This will be the first game I play. I was worried that it might not work well on the Vita and did a quick search on YouTube if anyone is interested in seeing it in action. It's rather brief and he does go over some other homebrew in the video as well. As a heads up, this is not my video! (And I know that this is in the PSP section but a lot of the newer members, myself included, seem to find more answers here than in the Vita section.)
