[Release] PRXDecrypter 2.7a

Post by Rahim-US »

Hello everyone,

PRXDecrypter, is an application developed by Jas0nuk initially to decrypt firmware modules, games eboots.bin ...
I just updated the PRXDecrypter 2.6b, with new keys for 6.xx and added some features like extracting hidden prx for firmwares 6.xx

Changelog:
2.6b --> 2.7a
- Now you can decrypt 6.3X and up EBOOT.BIN
- You can extract hidden modules from any DATA.PSP including 6.xx
- decrypt/decompress 6.XX modules.
- Keys for 6.XX - 6.60 added.
- Log file can be enabled or disabled on app startup (with LTRIGGER)
- Small fixes and other changes.

Nice thanks for the update, i wrote a news about at over at King ;)

And for the buddy above me, a PRX encrypter would be possible, but either these PRX will still just work at the cIPL CFWs, or just up to 6.20, but only if you fake sign them like with the perma patch for using them at OFWs.

I tried this out on leda.prx and PSPconsole.prx. They both have the same tags (DADADAF0) and it says that it is an unknown tag. I ran the decrypter on them and the leda.prx fails to be decrypted while PSPconsole.prx is successful.
I took a look at them and they were both gzipped so I just manually decompressed leda.prx.

Thank you for reporting the bug.
it is caused by the leda long module name and wrong check of M33 gzipped modules. i will fix the bug when possible.

I also tried tmctrl660.prx. When I used the analyze option it said "known tag 0x4C9494F0", but it failed to decrypt it.

Hi,

i fixed the M33 gzipped issus, but tmctrl660.prx i think is not only gzipped like M33, but it is encrypted with special algo, we must ask Neur0n for dercyption of his modules, all his CFW modules are encrypted. you can see ME modules are encrypted too.

I guess they are encrypted for a reason ;)
