JJS wrote:It is correct that the GO updates generally can not be unpacked/decrypted by Psardumper right now? I tried with different updates (6.20 and 6.35) and Psardumper errors out on them. I ended up pulling the files for 6.20 from flash0 instead.
You mean this release failed to decrypt the GO update or the one you tried before?
This release should decrypt every 6.x update currently available except the PSP-3000 files of 6.36

I mean the version you just posted here doesn't decrypt the GO update.

When I choose "Decrypt all" (square button), it shows me "loading psar...Version (null)." for the 6.31 and 6.35 GO update and then crashes. For the 6.20 GO update it shows the result in the attachment.

I ran it on a PSP GO with 6.20 TN HEN-A. No plugins, started from internal flash.

Decrypting the 6.35 X000 update works fine.

Thanks. Let me check. I am sure I did a quick test on both PSP & GO 6.35 updates before the release.....

Update:
Seems no problem with all PSP GO update using 1000 running 5.50 Prome-4...
Maybe your files are corrupted or compatibility issue with PSP Go / TN-HEN A ?

Here are the MD5 of the EBOOT I have:

Our files are identical. I tried the 6.35 GO update on my 1000 with 5.50 GEN-D3 now and it decrypts without a problem. So this must indeed be related to the HEN or the GO. Maybe a function import is not resolved that only gets called in the GO update branch? The NID translation is not complete in TN HEN. Maybe that's it(Edit: Nope. See below). The problem also occurs on TN-B btw.

I found the problem.

libpsardumper imports from pspDecrypt, but it should import the kernel export from pspDecrypt_driver instead. Seems like CFW is smart enough to not create syscall imports for kernel modules, but the HEN does exactly that. Scratch that again. 5.50 GEN does also import the function with a syscall, but it still works. I don't understand this. So you can actually do syscalls from within the kernel on CFW?
