get the 6.60 OFW and run it from XMB :/

or use the HC Recovery Flasher to update to 5.00 M33 or 6.20 OFW

Afaik you need 3.71 M33 for using the HC Recovery Flasher to update to higher CFWs/OFWs. And all the CFWs up to 3.60 M33 had the famous DADADADA error while trying to update to OFW.

@NNNRT:

Try to launch the 3.71 M33 installer without changing the kernel, maybe it does work.

This.^

I'd suggest 6.60 ME when you've update, NNNRT. ;)

I'm now using the CFW 5.50 prometheus v4 and is a psp-1001

you can easily skip this using Frostegater's VerGen ;) it's a very useful homebrew that can flash the version.txt you need without going mad :lol:

I would say changing it via PC or frostegaters VerGen is the most safe way to do it, it IS possible via PSPFiler, but if you screw up, you have a semibrick.
