Afaik you need 3.71 M33 for using the HC Recovery Flasher to update to higher CFWs/OFWs. And all the CFWs up to 3.60 M33 had the famous DADADADA error while trying to update to OFW.

Try to launch the 3.71 M33 installer without changing the kernel, maybe it does work.

I'd suggest 6.60 ME when you've update, NNNRT. ;)

I followed the entire tutorial to upgrade the CFW but when I try to correct the version.txt in the psp my pc don't show the directory VSH

I'm now using the CFW 5.50 prometheus v4 and is a psp-1001

Are you sure you are connected to the flash0?

you can easily skip this using Frostegater's VerGen ;) it's a very useful homebrew that can flash the version.txt you need without going mad :lol:

you can also use PSPfiler to edit it ;)
(just use hacker mode)

I would say changing it via PC or frostegaters VerGen is the most safe way to do it, it IS possible via PSPFiler, but if you screw up, you have a semibrick.
