no way, 6.60 has triple signature check. Guess you wait for 2013 until they hack itnoob wrote:my psp 3000..
i got ofw 6.60 on it now.. and i can go to PRO B9..
is a perma-patch planned?
The update will overwrite the B8 files and replace them with the new ones. Yeah there's no need to uninstall!LUISDooMER wrote:this is maybe a stupd question but i´m on 6.20 pro-b8 (non permanent), I have only run the pro update or uninstall pro b8 and install b9? (sorry my bad english...)
It appears that they did. If you want to play those games you're going to have to downgrade to a lower firmware.bixy04 wrote:This may have been discussed and resolved somewhere else, and if it has sorry for bringing up a dead topic, but I know Sony patched and blocked the use of signed commercial games (iso2eboot) on 6.60 OFW, but I thought the games would work for sure in PRO-B9. I just tried to run a signed commercial game on 6.60 PRO-B9 and it gave me the same error. Did Sony block that entire key or something?
Yeah. I'm not worried about it though. My PSP mainly is for emulator play anyways. However, I think they did that for a reason, because signed homebrews still work. Maybe they are slowly welcoming homebrew (ie: the Vita developer's kits) while keeping making commercial game piracy a CFW only thing. Even the E1000 on 6.50 runs signed homebrew right out of the box.Disturbed0ne wrote:It appears that they did.
