no way, 6.60 has triple signature check. Guess you wait for 2013 until they hack it ;)

The update will overwrite the B8 files and replace them with the new ones. Yeah there's no need to uninstall!

This may have been discussed and resolved somewhere else, and if it has sorry for bringing up a dead topic, but I know Sony patched and blocked the use of signed commercial games (iso2eboot) on 6.60 OFW, but I thought the games would work for sure in PRO-B9. I just tried to run a signed commercial game on 6.60 PRO-B9 and it gave me the same error. Did Sony block that entire key or something?

It appears that they did. If you want to play those games you're going to have to downgrade to a lower firmware.
DO NOT MESSAGE ME ABOUT THE NAME OF ANY NINJA RELEASE GAME! I WILL NOT PROVIDE YOU WITH THE NAME OF THE GAME AND IF YOU PERSIST THEN I WILL REPORT YOU TO THE STAFF!

Yeah. I'm not worried about it though. My PSP mainly is for emulator play anyways. However, I think they did that for a reason, because signed homebrews still work. Maybe they are slowly welcoming homebrew (ie: the Vita developer's kits) while keeping making commercial game piracy a CFW only thing. Even the E1000 on 6.50 runs signed homebrew right out of the box.
