ok before I sart this whole thing.

I have a psp 3000 with an 04g module.....what dhould i do? download ALL of the updates like the tut says or what?

@Halvhjearne: does popext work with firmwares > 6.1?
If yes, can you recompile it using this code? (It might be necessary to also add this code for directories permissions.)
I changed it to use the new directory structure of the new popsloader, plus I added a few firmwares.

it's clear that to have all the POPS you'll have to dl all the FW.
But what i can reccomend is to dl only some fw(like 3.71, 4.01-which is needed- and 3.40) and see here http://gamerspress.com/mediawiki/index. ... ility_List if some game you like needs a specific POPS.
For me have all the POPS is just a waste of time.
To be honest, somewhere you can find all the work done, but not here, nor i support these kind of things.

seems right too me ... you removed the quotes from my code and added support for 6.20/6.35/6.39 as well as for "the missing" common_util.prx, and what i knew i missed, unfortunatly im the wrong person to ask if its all correct ... sorry

edit: after a second look i see you added in some extra firmwares as well ... unfortunatly (afaik) the pops modules hasnt changed in all those versions of firmware

Yes, I added all the firmwares that the new popsloader seems to support (according to the README), but I don't know if there's any difference in the pops modules of those versions.
Do you know anyone who can compile it for us?

but im still unsure if we are missing anything here ... however, if you and me thouroghly test it first, i guess it would be allright to release it, as loong as the source follows along with the binary ... (and ofcourse it does no harm to any psp's)

you can just send me a pm, if you want to do this ...

Ok, so I'm in earlier posts in this thread but just to sum things up:

I have a 4g 3000 and I know 6.00+ works for popsloader and 3.02 to 3.52 works also, but does anyone know why the others don't? This may sound confusing but for 4.01, 5.50, and 5.51 pops, the game doesn't load but the home menu for that pops works. For example, if choose 4.01 pops, it wouldn't load the game but I can still access the 4.01 pops home menu, with the settings and memory card manager and all that. Does anyone know why that loads but not the game? (This might be a dumb question)

i don't know why but i've seen a strange thing: with psp GO POPS from 3.02 to 3.52 works but with NO SOUND!!
What happens in 4g?
Someone with 9g has managed to use POPS??

3.02 to 3.52 sound on the 4g works flawlessly, with CDDA audio too for games like Ridge Racer and Tekken 1

EDIT: I also found if you use the wrong impose.prx, the sound doesn't work in 3.02 to 3.52 and the home menus are in Japanese, weird. Be sure to use the impose.prx from 4.01
