luckyli theres an easy way to dump the pops prx's ...:
popsext.7z
(72.3 KiB) Downloaded 479 times
this will extract only the needed .prx files from 3.00, 3.01, 3.02, 3.03, 3.10, 3.11, 3.30, 3.40, 3.51, 3.52, 3.71, 3.72, 3.80, 3.90 and 4.01 ..

rename eboot.pbp to appropriate (3.00 update EBOOT.PBP=300.PBP) and place in ms0:/, then run popsextractor and let it do its job .. ;)

ps. i did not create this,
however i did add a few things to the source (included) to see if i could make it extract 5.00, 5.50 and 6.10 pops modules, but seeing as they arent supported yet (afaik) and the fact that im unsure if i did it right, i chose to just commented it out again ... :)

Oh wow, my old psp slim 2000 TA085 6.39 pro me-5 is working fine with this new popsloader! No crashes or any faults yet! :D Guess that means I won't need to update.
Posting this just as a heads up anyway

Oh snap, that was only for pops 6.00 and above, my bad

I have a psp 3000 4g and the newest nightly build, i followed the tutorial, got all the firmwares and the files, and none of them work...
Does anyone know what's the problem, is it because its 4g?

To my knowledge:
01g can run ALL POPs Modules
02g can run ALL POPs Modules
03g can run Most/ALL? POPs Modules (Not sure as I can't test with an 03g)
04g can run 6.00+ POPs Modules
05g can run 6.10+ POPs Modules
07/09g can run 6.35+ POPs Modules

We haven't really had an official word from VF or Coldbird whether this is true, though I suspect it still is since 04g cannot run anything lower then 6.00 POPs without crashing. The cause is most likely because the PSP Model isn't supported by those older Modules.

@Sean994
I've been playing around with it for a while and +6.00 works of course, but I realized that 3.02 to 3.52 work as well, sound and everything. Another plus is that CDDA audio works, for games like Ridge Racer Revolution, in 3.02 to 3.52. I'm happy that I can finally listen to the music in Ridge Racer :)

If you're using this on a PSP Go, you cannot pick any pops version from a firmware lower than the PSP Go could run.

EDIT: LOL WHAT? I you caught my post before I edited it, disregard. For some reason each of my PSOne games only booted once from 5.50 and after that they all crash. So if you're on a PSP Go, I recommend just using "Original from Flash"

Your right, interesting. I wonder why some freeze though on an 04g, I'll have to do more testing to confirm if 3.71-5.51 work on a 04g for any PSX Game I have. Perhaps that theory/info Coldbird said a while ago should be disregarded, for now. In any case great news! Thanks for sharing the info. :)

Yup :) , and I know 4.01 doesn't boot the game, but you can still press the home button and the home menu comes up.
