sir your game categories is not compatible on xmbctrl v4 it always crash but other version works especially modedd by codestation hopw u fix it!!!
Re: Official neur0n's thread -reports bug here please-
this is not my version lolxhai273 wrote:sir your game categories is not compatible on xmbctrl v4 it always crash but other version works especially modedd by codestation hopw u fix it!!!
the bug is just 2 plugins using the same function so they crash
anyway xmbctrl v4 is not very useful on ME it is more made for PRO firmwares
With that plugin you might turn on a different feature or some other weirc bug... better to not use it on ME
(anyway mose of the option there can be set from vsh or recovery menu, just press select)

i am not neur0n. this is just a collection of his work. other plugins works on 6.39 ME-7 neur0n has updated the NIDresolver...
i'm sure the plugin for 3D graphic works cause i tested it (for the psp genesis competition) i have never heard of the noumd plugin... if it is related to save battery power turning off the UMD drive there is gemini.prx that works on ME and do the same thing.

As i did with Pro-B8 i will mention it here too.
Hi, usually i use the memory stick speed up option on always.
but since i while ago Pro and Me has been having this problem
is this option is on always the CTF theme will hic-up once you
turn on the psp or either reset VSH you will have that hic-up
on your CTF theme. you can hear when the music of the theme
jumps.
well that all this wont happen is the option is change to game & pop
instead of always option!

why? cause i do not use cxmb. that plugin not only slow down a lot the boot. but also make weird bug appear...
i use patpat's ctf tool gui and exctact all the modules from ctf files...
then i simply copy them into my flash0.
this will make the psp load modules into ram from the flash as usual, speeding up the boot a lot compared to cxmb.
also since you have no cxmb active on vsh there willl be no conflict at all when using other plugins or functions like memory stick speedup.
since you're messing with flash to permanent install inside a psp your custom theme, i suggest you to avoid to do this if you have no clue how the nand work and how to recover your psp... also don't do this on unhackable psp!
Anyway, thanks for the tip, i'll add that on the faqs.

Re: Official neur0n's thread -reports bug here please-
People with unhackable PSP's can't do that so CXMB is our only option. I've used a ton of themes and haven't noticed any bugs from any of them (although there is a bit of lag but it's more than tolerable when the other option is to use the standard Sony XMB [which I find very boring] )moz wrote:i know what you mean, but i have never had that issue when using my custiom theme...jvhellraiser wrote:As i did with Pro-B8 i will mention it here too.

my psp is on XMB ready to use in 2 seconds from when i boot it.... i'm sorry for 300X users of LCFW but flash installed is faster. WAY faster
yes original sony XMB is boring, and cxmb is a well made plugin, but when you start using gamecategories, memory stick speedup, an heavy system_plugin_bg a lot animated and cxmb the psp start to lag a lot. sometimes not even 333mhz help fixing it.
