in recovery menu > configuration > use usbversion.txt in /seplugins
^ when i enable this option, will it work with just the text file or do i need the actual plugin to make it work
also where can i get that text file?

thats not what am looking for. i was hoping for a standalone text file that will work by enabling it in PRO recovery menu...

thats not what am looking for. i was hoping for a standalone text file that will work by enabling it in PRO recovery menu...

Make the text file. If I remember correctly, it works the same way as the plug-in version. So make a text file called usbversion.txt (.txt is the file extension, it should not be written alongside usbversion). Inside of usbversion.txt, type 6.60 and save the document then put it in your seplugins folder. This should then work when enabled and be successful at connecting to your PS3 for example.
