Hi everyone, I'm back.

I just purchased a second PSP off of ebay, and it's system software is 6.20 PRO-BB.

I again attempted to follow the steps in the link I posted earlier, and I still can't find a way to run the UPDATE that the link tells me to.

Also, I extracted the Fast Recovery and ProUpdate files to the memory stick, and now the only item on the menu says "Corrupted Data".

Help?

Do you have PRO UPDATE and Fast Recovery in the PSP/GAME folder of your memory stick? (Don't put them in another folder inside of the /GAME folder)

I really appreciate all of your hard work on the PRO CFW - it's awesome!
Apart from not being able to use a permanent patch on 6.60 as opposed to 6.20, is there any other limitations I would face if I upgraded?

not really. some people say that the plugin/homebrew compatibility is higher on 6.20, but I havn't had any problems. Also you can play all games without enabling the version.txt.
My PSPs:
Spoiler
PSP 3002 (03g) 6.60 PRO-C (thanks Coldbird & Virtuous flame!)
PSP 2002 (02g) 6.60 ME-1.8 (thanks Neur0n!)

If you want anything translated to/from japanese (to/from english) for your Homebrew, send me a PM and I'll see if I can help :)

Thanks, would there ever be a chance of a permanent patch or is it totally impossible?

I think it's impossible because the firmwares after 6.20 have added security or something which doesn't allow the vshmain.prx trick to be used on the later firmwares. If the pre-ipl and ipl on later psp's are cracked (which probably won't happen), then there would be a chance of a permanent CFW on later psps. :)

Hello guys,
I wanted to inform you that there are some users who have problems with GoCam, and on their Psp they mount CFW 6.20PRO-B10
For some, the camera is not detected, neither in the XMB nor from the various games that support it, but if they return to 6.20 OFW, the camera returns to work.

In some cases, this problem is shown also with 6.39/6.60PRO-Bx

What could be the problem?
Sorry for my english...

Thanks!
Lucarelli
