Sorry if this is a dumb question but I cant find it anywhere.

Is there a 660 pro-c permanent CFW for the PSP Go?

Just bought my first PSP Go and would love a permanent CFW but its 660 OFW.

Thanks for any help. :)

Make sure it supports 6.20 before you do anything. ;)

Hi im new and i was hoping to get some specific info on the unhackable psp 2000's. I have a silver psp 2001, serial HU3, fw 6.60, with a broken umd slot and charge station, i also bought it used years ago. Im new to hacking and want to install PRO-C2 on it, but i don't want to brick it.

....just noticed the date... here's to hoping it doesn't take a month for a response.....

Install a custom firmware (e.g. 6.60 LME-2.2) and use PSPident to check your motherboard.

You said it is unhackable? So it should have the TA-088v3 motherboard?

Please tell me what motherboard the PSP has, and I can tell you which CFW would be the best for your device :P

PSPident: http://zload.net/v2/archives/file/?id=241687

Edit:

My personal recommendations for each PSP (device, motherboard, etc):

Image
White PSV TV - 32GB - 3.65 CFW
White PSV 1000 - 32GB - 3.65 CFW
2x PSV 2000 - 32/64GB - 3.65 CFW
PSP Fat 1000 - TA-081 - 6.61 ME-2.3
PSP Slim 2000 - TA-085¹ - 6.61 ME-2.3
4x PSPgo & 1x PSP 3kº⁴ᶢ - 6.61 LME-2.3∞

and here i lost all hope and went to create a topic, thanks for the quick response Z. To clarify i don't know if it's unhackable, i do know the serial number HU3. What's stopping your recommended CFWs from bricking the psp if it turns out to be unhackable?

If you install the 6.20 LME-2.2 CFW, nothing should brick. This works at basically every device (*except a few selected 3000s/E1000s).

Since yours is a 2000, there is a good chance that you can use an EVEN better "full CFW", opposed to the 6.20 perma patched CFW.

They "look & feel" the same, but the ME CFW for the hackable CFWs is technically the better choice, opposed to the perma patched LME CFW, that works at every device*.

I would simply install the 6.60 LME CFW, use PSPident and check your motherboard.

Then follow the picture Ive posted above.

88v3 -> 6.20 LME-2.2 perma.

Not 88v3 -> 6.60 ME-2.2 (ME is only for older PSPs, is always a full CFW).
White PSV TV - 32GB - 3.65 CFW
White PSV 1000 - 32GB - 3.65 CFW
2x PSV 2000 - 32/64GB - 3.65 CFW
PSP Fat 1000 - TA-081 - 6.61 ME-2.3
PSP Slim 2000 - TA-085¹ - 6.61 ME-2.3
