Question regarding PSP GO and CFW

I want to get a second hand PSP Go to get all the games I use to enjoy. I want to know, do I need a memory card to put on CFW or can I do it without it through a cable?

Memory card isn't necessary, you can use the internal memory of the go which is 16gb. You don't even need a cable too, you can online download cfw

Do keep in mind that some plugins and maybe some homebrew wont work or might have problems if ran from the internal storage.
