PSP 3001 OFW6.60 ProUpdate BLACK SCREEN

Hello, when I run ProUpdate following this tutorial http://wololo.net/installing-pro-cfw-on ... psp-brite/ I get a black screen.

This PSP previously had a CFW but I can't remember which, however after losing battery power for years and replacing the battery, games no longer save. The PSP was overclocked to 333MHZ. I was attempting to reinstall CFW. Trying to update OFW with folder "UPDATE" in PSP/GAMES does not show up in PSP menu. Running update from settings "no applicable update found" or some such error. I've already tried disabling all SEPLUGINS, deleting the SEPLUGINS folder and replacing it with the one in the tutorial, holding R before running proupdate but nothing is working. Just black screen when running ProUpdate. Attempts to update OFW over network result in download failed error messages at 73% consistently. Please help, i've literally been trying to fix this all day.

PSP 3001, OFW 6.60, Overclocked to 333MHZ, unknown custom firmware was installed previously. Please and thank you.

(Sidenote, before trying to reinstall CFW I was trying to get the menus to adjust the clock speed to show, to no avail. I have tried every method to show the menus to adjust the clock speed, as I read on the internet that overclocking sometimes makes it where your games can not save. Please help thank you.)

SAME OUTCOME
deleted SEPLUGINS, PROUPDATE, CIPLFLASHER and PRORECOVERY. Replaced them with the 660_PRO-C2_14-02-2015.zip files.
Upon running PROUPDATE, black screen.
The directory structure is correct on the PSP, PSP/GAME and not PSP/GAMES. That was a typo in my original post.

My memory card was corrupting all files and was irreparably damaged. After factory resetting the PSP and getting a different memory card, I was able to run ProUpdate following the link given to me by a generous and kind user on this forumJack52032, thank you for all your help.

I apologize wasting time for such an issue I should have checked for to begin with. So glad my PSP is working. Yay!
