Welcome to the forums, Whast!

It would be very helpful if you could provide the firmware version your PSP is running (6.20, 6.60, etc..), and the model of your PSP (2000 Slim, 3000, Street, Go, etc..), and the version of Pro CFW you're trying to install.

You have to make sure you're trying to run a compatible version of Pro CFW or bad things can happen.

Also, what instructions did you follow to install the CFW? and where did you download it from?

Wololo's PSP CFW guide will walk you through the installation process and if you follow the instructions written on it carefully nothing should go wrong.

If you have firmware version 6.61 however, that page can't help you (it's a bit outdated). But you can still use the same instructions with the files provided in PRO-C2 thread on /talk.

Don't forget to reply if you found my answer helpful or if you're still having trouble installing the CFW.

If you follow Wololo's guide on installing Pro CFW on a PSP 2000, you'll find a download link to PRO-C2 for 6.60. Go ahead and grab a fresh copy just to make sure you didn't download anything else from that other website. Then read steps #3 and #4 on Wololo's guide and let me know if you're still having any problems.
