Can't update firmware without battery

Post by Ruriko » Mon Mar 07, 2016 11:56 am

I have a PSP Slim which I haven't touch for many years and my battery is dead so I have to use AC Adaptor. I currently use old cfw which is 3.71 m33-3. The problem is I can't install latest firmware cause it says battery level is low when I don't even have the battery inserted. The battery can't even fit into my console anymore and it's dead too. Is there a way to bypass the battery check? I tried the L+Triangle trick but it doesn't work

It is a seperate homebrew.

Hellcats Recovery Flasher, it can flash different CFWs. The newest one can also flash 6.60 ME/PRO, as far as I know.

You should be able to skip the battery check in Hellcats Recovery flasher (L+R?).
