6.20 perma VS Infinity

Post by 007 » Tue Feb 16, 2016 12:30 pm

Ok so awesome that Davee gave us Infinity!

On things like PSP 3000 09G this is the way to go for perma for sure.

But on systems like a 3000 04g or 03g and a GO 05G

WHat benifit would this truly bring over LME 2.3 or Latest PRO-C build 6.20 perma?

Is there any downside? the fact that infinity is a hybrid does this make it allocate more memory?

Curious if I should do all units to infinity or just the ones that need it?

Basically if the PSP will perform the same with both Ill infinity all, but before taking all my 6.20 permas and going to infinity Im curious is there any reason I may not want to?

PSN access, 6.6x FW features, 6.6x plugin support, build-in unbricker utility, superior perma patch (620 pro perma cant temp. boot LME/TN, 6.6x pro perma can temp. boot LME).

The only reason to not get Infinity would being able to use cIPL on old PSPs, because cIPL is the superior method of having a full CFW.

So in other words there in no downside at all to infinity vs perma patch?

That is good news.

I was thinking since its loading 2 firmwares it may allocate more memory.

Not pretending to fully understand how it works. I wasnt sure so I ask.

If this is the case then I should update all my PSP to infinity right?

Only those that cant use cIPL. CIPL is still superior to any kind of "perma patch".
