Updating from 6.20 permanent?
Hello everyone, it's been years since I did any software modding to my PSP Go and I just need some clarification. I am trying to update my PSP Go to the newest firmware since the newest cfw permapatch will be released this weekend. I am currently on 6.20 permanent. My question is, would it be safe or okay to simply update my PSP Go to the latest firmware and then reinstall the cfw? Again I do apologize if this is a simple question with a simple solution but I was unable to find a specific answer.

Any PSP except a 3000 09g: Install 6.61 OFW and then install either 6.61 LME or 6.61 PRO.
Wait for Infinity afterwards.
Using a FW 6.20 PSP 3000 09g: Use Frostegater's Physical Updater to update your 09g PSP back to 6.61. Then use 6.61 LME or 6.61 PRO.
