I have PSP-3004, Model 04g (checked with PSP Module Checker, PSPIDENT didn't work), Software version 6.20 that allows me to listen to music, videos, internet etc...
The weird thing is I can only play official games purchased from PSN and UMD games, no homebrew or anything, just official games! henceforth, i tried installing custom firmware for cfw pro 6.20-c fix3 and it flashed but PSP hangs on black screen then shuts down when i power it on I checked the system version it was still the original,
So I flashed the 6.20LME2.3 but the same thing happen, after that i upgraded it to 6.61 and repeat the whole thing above with cfw pro6.61-c fix3 and 6.61ME/LME2.3 (OFW Version) still the same thing, then i did the following:
1. Hard reset (hold triangle, square, start, select when booting),
2. Formatting the memory stick twice,
3. Repeating the above again and I put the CFW fastboot into the PSN games folder as well,
but all in vain nothing happened,
And It won't let me even downgrade to 6.20 using the latest 6.61 Chronoswitch Downgrader 6.1, whatever i do it's the same dame thing its just hangs on black screen then shuts down,
I would be grateful for any help regarding this matter especially the experts,
