Thanks, The Z. All my questions have been answered. The Z wrote:1. You will NEVER be able to install a full cIPL (Custom IPL) CFW on a newer PSP. Infinity is vastly superior to the 6.20 permanent patch, though.
2. If you remove the cIPL of ME CFW, then you just have the LME CFW. LME CFW is EXACTLY the same as ME CFW, just that LME works on all devices, while ME only works on old ones (due to cIPL).
3. Infinity is pretty much just a base bootloader. You can add a CFW of your liking to it, and Infinity will boot into said CFW, instead of OFW (by default).
Infinity is not a CFW by itself. Infinity does not enable you any cIPL or Pandora related things on newer devices. Infinity has a build-in unbrick functionality, though. It is better than the 6.20 permanent patches, but obviously worse than a cIPL/Pandora unbricker.

No, dude. Remember this is just a boot loader or perma patch tipe just like we got on 6.20 CFW. Let's wait for the releasing and then we'll see what kind of enhancements it got.Ix:Risor wrote:Question, will you be able to flash0 modding functions like the 2 Player PS1 Ad-Hoc Feature that IRShell (I might be wrong) had, but only allowed for PSP 1000's and 2000's that had their cIPL's flashed.

Re: Infinity Permanent patch development
Flash0 PRX modding does only work on cIPL CFWs. OFWs, permanent patch CFWs (which are technically OFWs that auto-boot into a temporary CFW) or Infinity (not 100% sure) do not support flash0 PRX modding.
They do support flash0 RCO (visuals) moddings, as shown in my LightSpeed mod. Beware, though. A wrong choice and the device bricks.

Re: Infinity Permanent patch development
We're already in 2016! PSP 3ks haven't been hacked as FAT's because there are no enough developers... or I think so... Is it too harder to fully hack a PSP 3000?The Z wrote:Flash0 PRX modding does only work on cIPL CFWs. Re: Infinity Permanent patch development
Any chance Infinity will support 6.60? Don't particularly want to have to update all my prx plugins, cfw, etc.
Like Wagic? Check out my custom themes, etc. at viewtopic.php?f=2&t=44148

Re: Infinity Permanent patch development
How does the recovery option work on Infinity? Davee said "need to put software at ms0:/infinity/recovery.prx and hold L on boot" but I don't see an infinity folder nor a recovery.prx file on my Memory Stick. Can someone provide me more info here? Thanks in advance
