PSP Go CFW freezes on startup

Post by Las-pen » Thu Aug 20, 2015 6:17 pm

First of all, I'm pretty sure there is an aswer to my problem already, but I haven't found anything yet. So sorry about that.

So, I got my hand's on PSP Go, with the intention of getting me a cradle and component cables as well and using it as home console with Dualshock 3 controller like PS2 and PS3 with . For that purpose I downloaded and installed PRO CFW 661-whatever-the-latest-was, but each time I run fast recovery and the system restarts, but it freezes couple seconds after the PSP logo shows, before even XMB comes up.
So I said to myself: "Hum", uninstalled PRO and tried the same thing with LME that http://www.zload.net/cfw/661/ guides me to. Tried running fast recovery with the same results.
Is it because I transferred some plugins from my old 1000 before installing cfw (changed ms0's to ef0's first, of course)?
Console still works fine with OFW. So how to get any cfw (preferably PRO) working on my Go?

Additional info: Previous owner said console hasn't been modified before. And the first thing I did was to restore default settings and format internal storage. In that order.

Okay.
So I solved it myself.
Just uninstalled LME, formatted system data and installed PRO to a virgin (not the right word?) system and it works nicely. We'll see if it can handle plugins let alone games.

90% sure that your plugins were the cause for the non-working LME CFW.
