Will check everything after I wake up :-) It's 3:15 AM where I am right now. I better be off to get some sleep again :P
Then I will also install everything. Thumbs up for me then!

Take care and good morning/afternoon/evening/night to you!

Just remembered something. Before 5.00 m33-4 I believe I did had 3.52 m33 as well and updated from it back then. Did 5.00 fix the problem DADADADA etc from 3.52? I mean let's hope it's still not dormant somewhere in my psp haha.... because I want to start soon upgrading it to latest firmware.

Well I just connected my PSP to my laptop. There is seplugins folder and I moved it to my laptop hd just in case. There is a cwcheat and popsloader directory in it. I guess I did use it back then... what is this again and can I just move them back after all the firmware updates I am going to do now? Will they still work at all with new CFW or do I need updated versions?

Also I noticed ONE BIG EBOOT file from Final Fantasy VIII I once made myself from my originals back then. I remember there are tools to make one file of the 4 separate discs FF8 has. Does anyone know this tool again and how it must be installed/used?

BIG EDIT:

ALL FIRMWARES SUCCESFULLY INSTALLED YAYYYY!!!!!!!!

It shows 6.61 ME-3 now at System Information. No errors so far. Thank you all very much my friends!!!!

Hope anyone could give me the names of the tools/plugins again of the program that create ONEBIG EBOOT.PBP file of games like Final Fantasy VII and VII and IX PSX editions. Or can I also just buy these from PSN right now with this 6.61 ME-3 without problems?? I couldn't do this during 5.00 M33-4 of course, since it was seen as truly CFW right?

But I am glad that it all worked out flawlessly! Btw, do you happen to know if there is a true FFV and VI PSP version or is it just the PS3/PSP version from the PS1?

Thanks. Yes that is obsolete now at that other website. I must say that the aid here from people is extraordinary well!!! :D

Only thing that doesn't work now seems to be my old EBOOT.PBP Final Fantasy VIII file. Whenever I start this I get a black screen. When I press home button I see the menu and can quit, change discs but further nothing at all.... It worked on 5.00 m33-4. How can I fix this? This is the only game that is NOT in the ISO folder btw. But it wasn't either before the 6.61 ME-3 upgrade. Should I move this to ISO folder or doesn't matter?

UPDATE: I just moved it to the ISO folder but I suppose a PBP file can't be run from the ISO folder as it just showed corrupted data. Then moved it to the GAME150 dir instead of GAME but that didn't work either. It worked on 5.00 m33-4 flawlessly. What would be the reason this EBOOT.PBP file doesn't show the game screen? Just black but the HOME button works and I can choose memory card/screen settings/switch discs but just a black screen.... anyway to make this work on my new firmware? Because I suppose it has to do with this newer CFW...

All else works great under ISO folder but they are all .ISO Files there :-)

I say remake your eboot.pbp with psx2psp 1.4 ;)
I works fine for me on ME and PRO CFW so should work for you
With multi disc games make sure you have in options DATA.PSP enabled

Thanks for answering you both. What again is popsloader exactly? I noticed I have a folder under seplugins called popsloader and in the root of seplugins a file called popsloader.prx. But all very old. From 2008.

Do I need to update these or something because I have a newer CFW or it should already work?

I also do not see an option to turn on DATA.PSP... where should this be?

Also, if I were to use PSX2PSP 1.4, does this have the ability to create multi discs into ONE big PBP file as well?

Actually, how do I use anything at all under seplugins directory again? I totally forgot this. Do I need to press some buttons before turning my PSP on or is there another way? For example CWCHEAT is under my seplugins as well. Probably very old too. Anyone knows how to use it again?

EDIT: lol I just downloaded the latest popsloader package (around 43mb) and placed it all under seplugins. Edited the pops.txt file (because cwcheat was in there too and needed to add this line for popsloader as well) and filled in the correct path of the popsloader.prx file (that's all I did). Before loading the EBOOT of FF8 I hold down R and choose new pops version 3.72 and then the game loaded again.

But again what does this popsloader thingy really do and do I need to configure stuff myself? And Psar dumper is necessary to work with as well? There are certain things still unclear to me. In time everything will come back I suppose...
