The former goes through it's process, but it doesn't change my firmware.
The latter installs the firmware fine, but the CIPL doesn't make it stay permanent.
The motherboard version I am on is TA-085v2.

It was on 6.20, I updated to 6.60 then 6.61 then downgraded back to 6.60.fate6 wrote:The system is on 6.60 OFW right?

Can you post the guide for a pandora battery CFW install? As for LCFW, I don't know what that is. Would PRO-C2 be considered a LCFW? Lastly, I formatted the card each time with only the files that came with said CFW.fate6 wrote:Hmm, I don't think the downgrade would have messed anything up but does a LCFW work? not saying stay with it but does it at least function as it should? If yes then the problem seems to be the CIPL which when dealing with that thing it can get tricky.
Just to be sure when installing the CFW you made sure it does not have plugins or the such in the memory card then while on OFW ran the OFW version of the ME installer?
If that also fails then you might have to use a pandora battery to install the CFW.
I removed the faceplate, so I doubt it's stuck. Is there some other way to test? The Z wrote:Can it be that your HOME button is stuck?
Because the ME CFW booted into OFW Mode when you keep HOME pressed.
