Yeah, but codestation never properly implemented that function in NPLoader. It works for some games, but for a lot of them, it's a no-go for custom DLC paths.
I do have to agree, however, that being able to choose a DLC path might be cool. Not having those annoying, non-startable icons in the XMB would be very nice.

As long as you are not using a 6.20 PRO permanent patch CFW, yes.

Perma LME can boot into PRO CFW, but perma PRO cant boot into LME CFW.

Just install PRO CFW and use the launcher for it when you want to launch it, otherwise keep using LME.

Not sure why you would use PRO CFW, since LME can do the very same (including online features), but okay.

Thanks Rahim. :)

Going back to 6.60 though. It's woulda been nice, but I couldn't get XMBCntrl or CXMB to work. XMBCntrl could use an update, also to include the Inferno option being added to the menu. Haven't heard about anybody having an issue with CXMB though. Not sure what's up. I'll see if it works on 6.60.

ok so i thought hi mem layout option is specific to pro online and that extra memory is always on with cfw.

However this review of this homebrew says turn it on http://wololo.net/2014/10/25/retroarch- ... e-1-0-0-3/

so what is it? is it for online plug in only or do i urn it on to use extra ram always?

I'm pretty sure that some homebrews and plugins can also use this extra memory, while others don't really need to.

Who told you its only for PRO online or CFW? There are some emulators that use the extra ram, not just RetroArch.
