I just have a question. I have a friend with a PSP 2000 5.55 and I don't want to buy a pandora batt. to see if it's a ta-88v3 (no i ain't makin one) When TN comes out can I run the hen and check out the motherboard model. I think it requires kernal access cuase I get an error when I do it just with hbl! And is there any chance of it bricking from that?
Please pray for frillybob. Get updates from here > viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2974

Re: PSPident
You can look at the datecode of your friend's PSP to decide whether it's hackable or not.
PSP's with datecode 8B or below can use Pandora to flash custom firmware.
Here you can see your datecode.

Also, here: a good and cheap Pandora battery.
