Totalnoob exploit real or fake

I think some people are missing the point though...

Yes, the latest videos are clearer than the last, and from the appearance of the VSH we can tell its 6.20... but what's the problem with making a video of the PSP turning on first? He clearly said the exploit worked on all models, why can't he, or someone else just make a video of it running on a 3000 or GO?

All he needs to do is show this running on a PSP 3000 or GO, and then we can believe it. Until then, I really don't blame anyone for doubting it. I wouldn't expect people to believe that I had a kernel exploit just because I showed a video of a spoofed version on a PSP that's fully hackable and could be running a 6.20 CFW.

I do think that it would be strange for someone like him to release fake news like this, but who knows...

Also, does anyone know if this youtube account is the "real" Total_Noob for sure? I'd assume it is since no one has said anything about it, but I also see his devsite has been down for a while...

Real for me, and besides, we shouldn't discuss this, because there are people out there who stopped working on real exploits because of other nagging people that call them fakers or that discourage them (in other words "trolls").

Someday when you'll have some good knowledge of a programming language ( Java , Action Script , maybe even C/ C# / C++, who knows, I'm currently on Java and Action Script learning ) and find something that's maybe useful for the scene, and others don't believe you, you'll understand the feeling... maybe

Like I've said, all I'd like to see is a PoC of it running on a 3000, or a GO, and he has my trust. I don't really think that's too much for people to ask for IMHO :/

I think its real. Total noob has been in the scene for a long time and he already proven himself and as a member of team gen. what would he get making a fake videos if he is already well known.

If you told me you had a HEN I would trust you without a proof. The same goes for Total_Noob

My theory is simple and works very well: if somebody who's been on the scene for years, involved in major projects (he's one of the guys behind the Gen CFW, as you know), tells you he has a HEN, you don't ask for proof, you just thank him.

People who ask Total_Noob for proof just didn't follow what's been going on in the scene.

The mistake Total_Noob did was to actually release a video, I agree with that. Videos are the symbol of fakers, and instead of proving anything, it raised suspicion among people who don't understand who he is and what he's done.
