better cam perhaps, i don't fully understand how those new cameras work. Try to put the youtube video in the lowest quality

edit: nope, still doesn't show the purple screen. Could someone explain why ?

That purple screen surely was just a way for him to visualize that the exploit works. If you look at the progress report in the pspking.de thread he hadn't implemented the version spoofing yet at the time the video was uploaded (I mean the very first video of course).
