DarkSpeed Final for 6.39, 6.60 & 6.61 PRO released

Why aren't 6.20 and 6.35 supported? I got it to work just fine for 6.20 PRO B10.

6.20 and 6.35 are supported , but The Z has not made Modded files for these firmwares

In the initial news i wrote that the developer, which is me by the way, made this homebrew without support for 6.20 and 6.35 because he (so I) has his reason for not supporting them.

The reason for the 6.20 is, if you really need to stay at 6.20, even forcing your 09g 3000 onto the 6.20 - which is a pretty bad idea in my opinion (!!), then there is no need for such a mod. Use the perma patch, because its in 99% the reason why you are using 6.20 instead of 6.39/6.60.

And 6.35 isnt supported because 6.35 is kinda the *** version, if you compare it:
6.35 has no TN. ME or LME as second choice, 6.35 has neither cIPL nor perma patch. 6.20 has perma patch and TN as second choice (dual boot if you does not count OFW). 6.39 has ME, LME and TN as second/third/fourth choice so this is pretty much a dang nice base version. And 6.60 has native support for every game, native support for the PSN, support for the ME, LME and 660 HEN as second/third/fourth choice and thats pretty much the reason why 6.20 and 6.35 arent supported.


Short version: If you are on 6.20, use perma patch or update. If you are on 6.35, downgrade and use perma patch or update.

My DarkSpeed does not support 6.20 and 6.35, i made it that it shows an update notification if you run it at <6.39. And a second security option is, that it refuses to install anything if you arent on 6.39 or 6.60 (with this second security check is even the 6.50 save).
These 2 security options are for not beeing able to install it on lower firmwares, on firmwares between 6.39 and 6.60 and/or above 6.60!

Is Darkspeed a mod of Lightspeed (just changed ME files with PRO)? Shouldn't Frostegator get credits because I thought he coded the installer (because I read a post a long time ago where you said you had no programming knowledge?) for Lightspeed and this seems to be a mod of Lightspeed in my honest opinion, also Team PRO credits?... I'm not hating, I'm just sharing what I actually think is true.

Before complaining about credits, how about downloading the file and checking the readme/credits.txt file?
Both of them are in the credits, Frostegater and Team PRO! Frostegaters name is even in the mainmenu of the program itself, so he got his credits.

LOL, I wasn't complaining!

I was just surprised not to see credits added to the first post, but instead see "The Developer, The Z" (singling out anybody else who was involved) was only there. Like I said, I wasn't hating or complaining. I was simply pointing out something that people will first read upon entering the topic.

I just like to see the proper credits credited to where people can actually see it. Not a topic started with only one person credited, totally submerging everybody else. I'm not going to sit and bicker about this because I like you and you do good things for the community but I hope you understand what I mean.

I just wrote this news in german and translated it into english so idk but kinda forgot him, maybe because the step from LightSpeed to DarkSpeed was just the changing LME->PRO stuff and that work was done just by me. Ive talked to frostegater via skype and he likes the LightSpeed Mod aka DarkSpeed very much

Comic XMB mod doesn't work on Japan PSP Version. Once OFW booted, there's still Comic Reader and no 6.60 Pro C launcher.
SenseMe XMB Mod is working though.

That's because the comic reader icon and the digital comics icon are different. The digital comics icon is only available in the western countries I think
