Today released the developers The Z and Frostegater their DarkSpeed Final XMB Mod installer which modifies the Digital Comics or SensMe Channels symbol of the XMB, and reuses it for launching the PRO LCFW. DarkSpeed is nearly the same as LightSpeed, but DarkSpeed supports the PRO instead of the LME CFW. DarkSpeed supports the Firmwares 6.39 and 6.60 The Firmwares 6.20 and 6.35 are not supported.

This seems pretty nice. I'll have to test it as soon as i can. Does this work with PRO-B9/B10?

Should work with the PRO-B10 series, but i recommend to update to PRO-C if you are using PRO-B atm.

How exactly does it work?
Where is the backup stored?
Does it include fast boot for 6.39 and 6.60 PRO?

If you are on 6.39 PRO, it will install the fastrecovery of the 6.39; if you are on 6.60 PRO, it will install the fastrecovery of the 6.60. Or in short words, it detects which firmware you are running and installs the fastrecovery which is necessary for it.

It does touch the flash0, which is necessary for the XMB modding. But the installer is 100% safe, we tested it and it ran successfully with every PSP.
(In these tests we had no plugin enabled in the game.txt, so its recommended to disable all game plugins before using Light-/DarkSpeed.)

Why aren't 6.20 and 6.35 supported? I got it to work just fine for 6.20 PRO B10.
