Putting Custom gameboots on a psp 2000

Postby Aldaris » Tue Jun 26, 2012 4:51 pm

I have a PSP 2000 with PRO-B10 6.60 on it, and I found a game loading screen video that I like and I downloaded the .pmf file. How do I put this on the PSP to run it?

use the zero VSH patcher plugin you can find here, rename the .pmf to gameboot.pmf and put it in the PSP/VSH folder

I´m not sure if he´s talking about writting gameboot to flash but i´m sure vsh patcher is a plugin. ..
ReaperX search a download and look to the readme.. maybe try a gameboot plugin from the 6.20 hb-list or i used flashspacer or& Todo en Uno PSP Hw v1.0 writte a custom gameboot to flash (but you know a littel brick risk)

you can also use pspfiler or toogel flash to usb but the hb is used did a check if everything is fine (lesser brick risk)

as i wrote it wasn´t to heavy with those HBs. Why should someone use a x-tra plugin if it´s possible to have it permant with all psp.. lower brick risk OK & random gameboots etc^^

Im Actually using a Custom Gameboot PMF with ZeroVSH Patcher and it Works Perfectly. I Would never risk anything with the Flash0. In the Readme for the plugin it says it uses a method of hooking to check if there is a Replacement file in PSP/VSH and if so, Hooks the file to run that one instead of the one in Flash0.

P.S: This plugin works great with RCO's. Its very compatible with a lot of them ive tried. :D

imo, the "changing-of-the-flash-gameboot" way makes it shorter than it's supposed to be.
stick with the CXMB themes man. it's a better alternative.

first, if you were experiencing this on PRO-B7, the slowdown was the bug of PRO-B7
second, this depends on a theme, and im sure that every theme has been tested enough before posting so no lags would happen.
