I mean 6.20 has the permanent patch but other then that why not just go to 6.60 ?

i think he means the CIPL but that's only for fully hackable psp...

I forgot Sony blocked the permanent patch on the newer PSP models via firmware update.

So I added downgrade tutorial for people on PSP GO and PSP 3000 so they can downgrade to 6.20 OFW.

also its good to let people know they have the option to downgrade if they want

I still have my 1k and 2k
(tho the flash on my 2k s ruined so I can only use it with Time Machine)

Installing 1.8 ME over 5.50GEN.
So when I launch the app I get "PSP Update ver. 6.60" - "Start"?
Do I update this? This will not give me 6.60 OFW, correct?
